Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
February 9 is the Leave-taking of the Feast of the Meeting of Our Lord Jesus Christ. As the liturgical celebration draws to a close, the hymns of Matins remind us that Christ, once received in the Temple, now seeks to dwell within the hearts of the faithful. The feast departs from the calendar, yet its light continues to guide our spiritual life.

The Scripture readings (1 John 2:18–3:10 and Mark 11:1–11) exhort believers to live as true children of God and to receive Christ not only with words of praise, but with lives shaped by obedience and love.
