Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On January 29, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Translation of the Relics of the Holy Hieromartyr Ignatius the Godbearer to the City of Antioch. A disciple of the Apostle John and bishop of Antioch, Saint Ignatius bore fearless witness to Christ through martyrdom, continuing to guide the Church toward unity, faithfulness, and love.
Today’s prescribed Epistle (1 Peter 4:12–5:5) exhorts believers to humility and steadfastness in trials, while the Gospel (Mark 12:38–44) reveals the depth of true devotion through the offering of the poor widow. Together, they illuminate the call to wholehearted trust in God.
The next scheduled livestream will take place on February 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM (Eastern).
