Typica Livestream – Thursday, October 30, 2025
Gerald Largent
Glory to Jesus Christ!
On October 30, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Martyrs Zenobius and Zenobia. These holy siblings from Aegea gave their lives for Christ during the persecutions of Diocletian, bearing witness to unwavering faith and the eternal power of divine love.
In today’s Epistle reading (Colossians 1:24–29), the Apostle Paul speaks of rejoicing in his sufferings for the sake of Christ’s Body, the Church. His words echo in the lives of Saints Zenobius and Zenobia, who endured pain not with despair but with the joy that comes from union with the Lord. The Gospel reading (Luke 11:14–23) reminds us that Christ’s kingdom is not divided — He is the one who drives out evil and brings light where darkness seeks to dwell.
We invite you to join us again for our next livestream on Monday, November 3, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern.
