Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On July 9, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Hieromartyr Pancratius, Bishop of Tauromina in Sicily, an early shepherd of Christ's flock whose courageous witness helped establish the Orthodox faith in Sicily.
The life of St. Pancratius reminds us that the Gospel is proclaimed not only with words but through steadfast faith, pastoral care, and unwavering devotion to Christ. His example continues to encourage Orthodox Christians to stand firm in the truth and to share the hope of the Resurrection.
May the prayers of St. Pancratius encourage us to grow in courage, faithfulness, and love for Christ as we seek to live out the Gospel each day.
