Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Join St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach in prayer with this Matins livestream recording from October 19, 2026, honoring St. John of Kronstadt & Holy Prophet Joel. This Orthodox Christian service offers time to step away from distraction and turn your attention toward Christ.
Renewing prayer and hope
The commemoration of St. John of Kronstadt and the Holy Prophet Joel invites us to consider the renewal of the heart. It is possible to keep moving through familiar routines while neglecting prayer, mercy, or repentance. A deliberate return to God begins by acknowledging our need for Him.
As you join this Matins recording, ask Christ to renew your willingness to pray and serve. Bring before Him a person or situation that has seemed beyond hope. Let your prayer lead to one practical act of compassion for someone whose needs you can help meet.
Pray with this Orthodox Matins recording
Matins is the Orthodox morning office, directing our attention toward God through the prayer and praise of the Church. Whether you are beginning your day or returning to the recording later, set aside distractions and participate as you are able. Allow a little quiet afterward to carry the prayer into your next responsibility.
