Glory to Jesus Christ!
On August 28, the Orthodox Church commemorates Our Venerable Father Moses the Ethiopian, a holy ascetic whose life exemplified unwavering faith, humility, and devotion to God.
Who Was Our Venerable Father Moses the Ethiopian?
Saint Moses the Ethiopian was a 4th-century monk who embraced the monastic calling in the deserts of Egypt. Through years of prayer, fasting, and ascetic practice, he became a beacon of humility and spiritual strength, inspiring countless others to pursue holiness and live a life devoted to Christ. His example reminds us that true freedom is found in surrender to God and obedience to His will.
