Matins Livestream – Monday, July 7, 2025

Gerald Largent

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!

On Monday, July 7, we are blessed to gather for our Matins livestream, a time of prayer and reflection as we honor the memory of the Holy and Great Virgin Martyr Cyriaca. Her life serves as a powerful reminder of unwavering faith in the face of persecution, and her story continues to inspire Orthodox Christians around the world.

Who Was St. Cyriaca?

St. Cyriaca was a courageous martyr who lived during the early Christian period. She endured great suffering for her faith, remaining steadfast in her commitment to Christ. Her dedication and sacrifice make her a powerful role model for us all.

Readings for July 7

As we reflect on St. Cyriaca's example, the readings for today invite us to delve deeper into the call for love, unity, and humility in the body of Christ:

📖 Romans 12:4-5, 15-21: St. Paul reminds us that though we are many, we are one body in Christ. Each of us plays a unique and important role in the Church, and we are called to serve one another with humility and love.

📖 Matthew 12:9-13: In this Gospel reading, we witness Jesus healing a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath. This passage teaches us about compassion, mercy, and the importance of doing good, even when it challenges traditions.

Join Us for Our Next Livestream

We invite you to join us for our next livestream on Wednesday, July 9, at 6:30pm Eastern.
