Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Today is the First Wednesday of Great Lent.
On February 25, we commemorate St. Tarasios, Patriarch of Constantinople, who courageously defended the veneration of holy icons and safeguarded the Orthodox faith. His life reflects both theological wisdom and pastoral humility—virtues especially fitting as we continue the ascetical journey of Great Lent.
The appointed reading from Isaiah 2:3–11 calls the faithful to ascend the mountain of the Lord and to walk in His light. The prophet contrasts humility with human pride, urging repentance and trust in God alone.
Our next livestream will take place on February 26, 2026, at 8:00am.
