Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On March 13, we commemorate the Translation of the Relics of St. Nikephoros, Patriarch of Constantinople, a steadfast confessor who defended the holy icons and preserved the Orthodox faith in times of turmoil. The translation of his relics bears witness to the Church’s enduring reverence for the saints and their living presence among us.
The appointed readings from Genesis 7:11–8:3 and Proverbs 10:1–22 invite reflection on judgment, mercy, and wisdom. The narrative of the flood reveals God’s righteous judgment and His saving compassion, while Proverbs calls us to pursue righteousness and avoid folly. In the context of Great Lent, these Scriptures guide us toward repentance, renewal, and deeper communion with Christ.
Our next livestream will take place on March 13, 2026, at 8:00am.
