Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Today is Great and Holy Monday, marking the beginning of Holy Week. This sacred time of Orthodox Christian worship invites the faithful into deep prayer, watchfulness, and reverence as we enter into the saving events of Christ’s Passion.
Great and Holy Monday calls us to spiritual vigilance and repentance, preparing our hearts to walk with Christ through His suffering and, ultimately, toward the joy of His Resurrection.
The appointed reading from Ezekiel 1:1–20 reveals a profound vision of the glory of God, reminding us of His majesty and the mystery of His divine presence. This vision calls us to humility and awe as we begin this most holy week.
