On December 16, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Prophet Haggai, whose prophetic message urged God’s people to rebuild with faith and devotion.
Today’s readings, 2 Timothy 3:16–4:4 and Mark 8:22–26, teach that God forms us through His inspired word and gradually grants us spiritual clarity. As we reflect on these passages, Typica becomes an opportunity to renew our desire for true spiritual vision and steadfast obedience.
