Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On June 26, the Orthodox Church commemorates St. David of Thessalonica. Revered for his life of ascetic discipline and profound devotion to God, St. David remains a cherished example of prayerful perseverance and Christian humility.
The Scripture readings for this service are Romans 11:25–36 and Matthew 12:1–8. The Apostle Paul's words lead us to marvel at the depth of God's wisdom and mercy, while the Gospel reminds us that the Lord desires mercy and compassion from His people. Together, these passages reveal the loving providence of God and His call to a life transformed by grace.
The witness of St. David encourages us to seek the Kingdom of God through prayer, repentance, and steadfast faith. His example reminds us that holiness is cultivated through a life centered on Christ and sustained by trust in His mercy.
Our next livestream is scheduled for June 29, 2026, at 6:30 PM.
