Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On June 15, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Prophet Amos. Though called from humble beginnings, Amos faithfully proclaimed God's message of righteousness and repentance, becoming a powerful witness to divine truth and justice.
The Scripture readings appointed for this service are Romans 7:1–13 and Matthew 9:36–10:8. The Apostle Paul teaches that through Christ we are freed from the dominion of sin and called to a new life of holiness. In the Gospel, Christ reveals His compassion for humanity and commissions His disciples to carry the good news of the Kingdom to the world.
The life of the Holy Prophet Amos reminds us that God often works through humble servants to accomplish His purposes. His example encourages us to remain faithful to God's commandments, attentive to His voice, and committed to living lives marked by repentance, mercy, and truth.
Our next livestream is scheduled for June 17, 2026, at 6:30 PM.
