Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Join St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach in prayer with this Typica livestream recording from September 21, 2026, honoring Leavetaking of the Exaltation of the Cross. This Orthodox Christian service offers time to step away from distraction and turn your attention toward Christ.
Carrying the meaning of the Cross beyond the feast
The leavetaking of the Exaltation of the Cross invites us to carry the feast into ordinary life. A celebration may reach its liturgical conclusion while its call remains before us: to follow Christ in humility, repentance, and self-giving love. The Cross directs our attention toward the mercy of the Savior.
As you pray, consider a place where pride makes love difficult. Perhaps it is a longstanding disagreement or an unwillingness to ask forgiveness. Offer that struggle to Christ. Let remembrance of His Cross shape one practical choice toward peace today.
Pray with this Orthodox Typica recording
Typica offers a way to enter the Church's rhythm of prayer through psalms, hymns, and Scripture. If you are new to Orthodox Christian worship, listen attentively and join the prayers as you are able. You can return to the recording whenever you need time to recollect your thoughts and turn toward God.
