Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On July 10, the Orthodox Church commemorates St. Anthony of the Kievan Caves, the revered founder of monastic life in Kievan Rus and a model of prayer, humility, and unwavering devotion to Christ.
The appointed readings for today are 1 Corinthians 4:5–8 and Matthew 13:44–54. St. Paul reminds us to entrust judgment to the Lord, who alone knows every heart. In the Gospel, Christ reveals the immeasurable worth of the Kingdom of Heaven through the parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price, inviting us to seek eternal riches above all else.
The life of St. Anthony bears witness to these sacred truths. By embracing a life of ascetic struggle and wholehearted commitment to God, he discovered the true treasure that neither time nor death can take away, inspiring countless others to pursue the path of holiness.
Our next livestream is scheduled for July 13, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
