Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On July 2, we commemorate St. John Maximovitch, one of the most beloved saints of the modern Orthodox Church.
The appointed readings for the day are Hebrews 7:26–8:2 and John 10:9–16. In these passages, the Church proclaims Christ as the eternal High Priest who intercedes for His people and as the Good Shepherd who lovingly guides and protects His flock. These themes are vividly reflected in the life and ministry of St. John Maximovitch, whose devotion to prayer and pastoral care continues to inspire the faithful.
As we honor this holy saint, we are reminded of our calling to follow Christ with humility, compassion, and steadfast trust. May his example encourage us to grow in holiness and deepen our commitment to the life of the Church.
Our next livestream is scheduled for July 3, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
