Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
On June 11, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas. As we gather in the evening prayer of the Church, we honor these faithful apostles whose missionary labors and steadfast witness helped establish the foundations of Christian faith throughout the world.
The Scripture readings appointed for this service—1 Peter 1:3–9, 1 Peter 1:13–19, and 1 Peter 2:11–24—call believers to live in the hope of the Resurrection, pursue holiness, and follow Christ with faithfulness and perseverance. These apostolic teachings echo the lives of Bartholomew and Barnabas, who devoted themselves completely to the proclamation of the Gospel.
Through Orthodox Christian worship, we are invited to deepen our commitment to Christ and to grow in faith through prayer, repentance, and trust in God's providence. The witness of the apostles continues to inspire the Church to carry the light of the Gospel into every generation.
Our next livestream will take place on June 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
