Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Join St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach in prayer with this Matins livestream recording from September 11, 2026, honoring St Theodora of Alexandria. This Orthodox Christian service offers time to step away from distraction and turn your attention toward Christ.
Making room for repentance and a new beginning
The commemoration of St. Theodora of Alexandria offers a setting for reflection on repentance, humility, and perseverance. A prayerful morning need not begin with the claim that everything is well. We can come before Christ with regret, confusion, and the sincere desire to begin again.
Rather than dwelling on another person's failures, ask where your own heart needs healing. Is there an apology to make or a resentment to release? Bring that need into prayer, and ask for the courage to take one small, honest step toward reconciliation.
Pray with this Orthodox Matins recording
Matins is the Orthodox morning office, directing our attention toward God through the prayer and praise of the Church. Whether you are beginning your day or returning to the recording later, set aside distractions and participate as you are able. Allow a little quiet afterward to carry the prayer into your next responsibility.
