Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Join St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach in prayer with this Typica livestream recording from August 31, 2026, honoring Placing of the Belt of the Mother of God. This Orthodox Christian service offers time to step away from distraction and turn your attention toward Christ.
Remembering the Mother of God in everyday life
The Placing of the Belt of the Mother of God invites us to consider how the Church remembers holiness through tangible things. Christian faith is lived through bodies, homes, relationships, and acts of care. The commemoration turns our attention toward the Mother of God and the life of trust and obedience that Christians seek to imitate.
As you pray, bring to Christ the ordinary concerns that are closest to you: someone who is ill, a difficult responsibility, or a decision requiring patience. Ask the Mother of God to intercede for you, and consider one practical act of kindness you can offer today.
Pray with this Orthodox Typica recording
Typica offers a way to enter the Church's rhythm of prayer through psalms, hymns, and Scripture. If you are new to Orthodox Christian worship, listen attentively and join the prayers as you are able. You can return to the recording whenever you need time to recollect your thoughts and turn toward God.
