Join our Friday livestream
On Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. EST, we will offer Typica, commemorating St. Paul the Confessor, Archbishop of Constantinople. St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach invites you to join us in prayer as we remember those who have witnessed faithfully to Christ and bring the concerns of our own lives before Him.
The witness of St Paul the Confessor
St. Paul endured repeated exile in his defense of the Orthodox faith. His steadfastness reminds us that faithfulness requires patience as well as conviction. We honor his witness by asking God to strengthen us to speak truth without bitterness and to remain rooted in the love of Christ when life becomes difficult.
Scripture and encouragement
The appointed daily readings are 1 Thessalonians 2:14–19 and Luke 12:2–12. The Epistle expresses the bonds of love within a community tested by suffering. In the Gospel, Christ urges His disciples not to be ruled by fear and assures them of God’s care. These passages invite us to entrust our anxieties to the Lord and to support one another in hope.
An invitation to pray
Everyone is welcome to join this livestream, including those who are exploring Orthodox Christianity and those unable to attend church in person. Please bring your own prayers and the needs of those you love as we offer the morning to God. Our next calendar-confirmed livestream is Matins on Monday, November 9, at 8:00 a.m. EST.
