Typica Livestream -- November 2, 2026

Join us for morning prayer
On Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. EST, St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach invites you to join our livestream of Typica. As a new week begins, we will offer psalms, hymns, and prayers to the Lord, bringing before Him the needs of our families, our communities, and those who are ill or alone.
Remembering St Acindynus
We commemorate St. Acindynus of Persia, who remained faithful to Christ during persecution and confessed his faith in the Holy Trinity. His witness invites us to consider how our own faith becomes visible in daily choices. Courage may take a quiet form: speaking truth with kindness, keeping a promise, or remaining beside someone who needs help.
The appointed Scripture readings
The daily Epistle is 1 Thessalonians 1:1–5, and the Gospel is Luke 11:29–33. St. Paul’s thanksgiving draws our attention to faith expressed through love and hope. The Gospel calls us to repentance and to an attentive response to the light God gives. Together, these passages encourage us to receive the week as an opportunity to return to Christ.
Pray with the ministry
Whether you are familiar with Orthodox prayer or joining for the first time, you are welcome to pray with us. If you are unable to attend a service in person, we hope this livestream will offer a time of spiritual encouragement and connection. Our next calendar-confirmed livestream is Matins on Wednesday, November 4, at 8:00 a.m. EST.
