Matins Livestream -- October 23, 2026

Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!

Join St. Panteleimon Orthodox Christian Outreach in prayer with this Matins livestream recording from October 23, 2026, honoring St. James, Brother of the Lord. This Orthodox Christian service offers time to step away from distraction and turn your attention toward Christ.

Listening for the voice of Christ

Remembering St. James, Brother of the Lord, invites us to reflect on discipleship expressed through prayer, attention, and daily faithfulness. It is easy to fill the morning with voices demanding an immediate response. A time of prayer helps us pause and ask whose guidance is shaping our lives.

Bring before Christ the decisions and relationships that need wisdom. Ask for a heart ready to listen and a willingness to act with humility. Remember your parish and everyone entrusted with spiritual care, praying that their service will help others draw closer to the Lord.

Pray with this Orthodox Matins recording

Matins is the Orthodox morning office, directing our attention toward God through the prayer and praise of the Church. Whether you are beginning your day or returning to the recording later, set aside distractions and participate as you are able. Allow a little quiet afterward to carry the prayer into your next responsibility.
