The St. Panteleimon Ministry serves senior living communities (nursing homes, assisted living, independent living, memory care, etc.) throughout Northeast Ohio. Prior to March 2020, we frequently held Orthodox group prayer services, like the one in this video, at various locations in our area. From 2010-2020 the ministry held more than 2,600 services for those who cannot get to church on a regular basis. By the Grace of God, in-person services with our residents have resumed as of October 20, 2021. We pray that this form of ministry will gradually increase and ultimately equal or exceed what we were able to do prior to the pandemic. Regardless of the status of the in-person ministry, it is our intention to continue providing prayer service videos for our residents, shut-ins with computer access, and to the general public.

"The body, being only the temporal garment of the soul, is perishable, and does not constitute the true life of the man. The true life is the spiritual life. If you rend, if you destroy the man's garment, still he himself remains alive; so also after the slaying, after the death, the corruption of the body, the soul remains alive. Let us then chiefly care for the soul, for its salvation!" --St. John of Kronstadt
"When one man helps another by word or deed, let them both recognize in this the grace of God. He who does not understand this will come under the power of him who does." --St. Mark the Ascetic
"We cannot live in such a way that no one grieves or offends us, for the Apostle Luke writes: we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22), and bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2). Let us therefore ask that we may bear sorrows with self-reproach and humility and not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, and with the Prophet say: With them that hate peace I was peaceable (Psalm 119:6)." --St. Hilarion of Optina
